Like the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla news piece, you’re going to see triple-A titles elsewhere, but I just wanted to touch upon news Paper Mario The Origami King.

Out on the Switch from the 17th of July, Paper Mario The Origami King revisits some beloved Nintendo characters in the 2D/3D paper world.

The nemesis of the story is King Olly, who claims rule over the Origami Kingdom who has plans that endanger Mario and chums.

In Paper Mario The Origami King Mario comes equipped with some new tools.

The 1000-Fold Arms enables him to stretch, pull, peel and reveal new locations – somewhat like the recent A Fold Apart or a distant cousin, Old Man’s Journey.

Among the returning characters are some new ones such as King Olly’s sister, Olivia, who helps you along with Bowser or all adversaries.

Additionally, Paper Mario The Origami King introduces a new ring-based battle system used to help with the puzzles and maximise damage in the turn-based battles.
