Perish The Thought - Redemption For Your Sins On Steam?

Perish The Thought - Redemption For Your Sins On Steam?

There’s a Perish type joke somewhere here about how this news has been sitting on my to-do list for a few days now, but still worth posting about.

The PR piece for this game from Item 42 and HandyGames is quite poetic, but you don’t come here to read quality writing, so I’ll use my own words.

Perish - Am I interrupting

Perish is a first-person co-op shooter where you seek redemption at the gates of Elysium. Your mission is to ‘satisfy the demands of the Priests of Purgatory’, slaying the denizens of hell and gathering the golden Danake.

Already a super stylish title (the developers are specialists in VR for the non-gaming world), they’ve gone one step further and created a brutal death metal score to accompany the mayhem. Going the extra mile. In hell…

Up to four players can join in the fun. Here’s the rest of the features found in Perish:

  • 1-4 player online co-op campaign sprawling across dilapidated temples, volcanic foundries, and ancient shipwrecks
  • A series of magnificent boss-fights against rare and unheard-of colossal deities from ancient Greek mythology
  • More than 10 handcrafted and ornate javelins, swords, bows, and guns each with its own unique and upgradeable offensive capabilities
  • Gratuitous, brutal, gold-soaked ranged and melee combat against enemies with distinctive battle behaviors
  • Morbid gladiators: enemies in PERISH are unforgiving, and as you travel further through Purgatory you will meet a slew of enemies inspired by Ancient Greek, Roman, and Christian mythologies
  • Post-launch support: free updates to the PERISH universe, with strange new enemies and even crazier weapons to play with

How about some action?

Perish doesn’t have a confirmed release date just yet, but that doesn’t stop you from wishlisting it on Steam right NOW.
