Plan B From Outer Space: A Bavarian Odyssey Shifts Into Action
Plan B From Outer Space: A Bavarian Odyssey immediately put me in the mood for the classic Ed Wood flick before seeing the trailer or reading anything about it. Then I saw RobotPumpkin Games.
- A Q&A With imaginarylab, Creators Of Whirlight – No Time To Trip
- The Best Of Two Worlds In Shin Chan: Shiro And The Coal Town
- Blood Hunting Is Dark And Dangerous, This Summer On PS5
- Age of Defense Review: This Takes Ages
If you recall, these devs made the excellent The Innsmouth Case, and aside from being one of the best Lovecraft games out there, it’s also one of the best text adventures I’ve played, and I grew up on early Sierra. Sorta.
With hints of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Plan B From Outer Space: A Bavarian Odyssey is about an alien that crash lands in the south of Germany and has to use its shape-shifting abilities to remain undetected, away from these ‘Barbvarians’.
Key features for Plan B From Outer Space: A Bavarian Odyssey include:
- “Basic” Bavarians Meet “Extra” Terrestrials: Design your very own cute, cuddly, and conniving space creature with unique features and a touching backstory
- Make the Right (or Funniest) Decision: With 19 possible endings, every choice matters, which means plenty of trial and error with comedic results
- Big Brain Blobs: Use those alien wits to solve fun, challenging mini-games and discover handy (or tentacle-y) items to help you escape the savage backwater of Southern Germany
- Handmade German Craftsmanship: Dozens of beautifully illustrated backgrounds and animated characters breathe life and personality into this sci-fi comedy experience

There aren’t any dates set for Plan B From Outer Space: A Bavarian Odyssey as yet, but it will be showcased later this year at Gamescom 2021.
