PlayStation Plus Badass Games for February 2020

PlayStation Plus Badass Games for February 2020

Has a month already passed since Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Goat Simulator was released on PlayStation Plus? Was it also a month ago that I said I’d be playing them, and here we are in February, still not booted up? Yep.

So, to add to the backlog of PlayStation Plus titles, we have the standard two as can be expected, but the bonus of a PSVR title. First up is Bioshock: The Collection. I can skip over this one quite quickly as I only recently bought it, but I’ll add to my library (which I encourage you to do with all titles as you needn’t download them, but will have access to them as long as you keep your membership running.

There are rumours of a Nintendo Switch version of BioShock: The Collection, but you’ve read about that already, haven’t you?

Second on the list is The Sims 4. Now, this is a corker of a title, if you like that sort of thing. Back in the day, I used to play The Sims to death but it got to that stage of endlessness and then my role as a parent, that I soon parted ways with the series. My daughter now carries that flame and if she isn’t spending her pocket money on V-Bucks, it’s on the large collection of The Sims expansions from restaurants to university themes.

Lastly, the bonus game depends on whether you have a PSVR setup or not. I suppose I should double-check whether you can play without it*, but the appeal of Firewall Zero Hour is the virtual reality element, mixed in with team play. I’ve yet to play this title but it’s one of the few games where I have watched others play online and it looked a blast. Coincidently, it was on my list at Christmas but was beaten by Concrete Genie and Trover Saves The Universe.

All three games are available now, so go get them. Run, you fools! You do need the PSVR gear
