Art is subjective and all, but how does it make you feel to hear that Please, Touch The Artwork lets you fondle the works of art rather than gawking at it?

Of course, there’s nothing wrong with gawking.

So, what’s the deal? Please, Touch The Artwork is from solo developer Thomas Waterzooi, a.k.a. Studio Waterzooi. It’s ‘part zen puzzle, part narrative adventure’ exploring iconic paintings and some 150 puzzles, all to the tune of some jazz. Hmmmm, nice.

Key features include:

  • Play procedurally-generated puzzles based on Mondrian paintings such as Compositions with Red Blue Yellow, Broadway Boogie Woogie, and New York City
  • Waltz through this collection of three different paintings — each with its own unique gameplay and puzzles
  • Solve more than 150 randomly generated puzzles with 2 – 3 hours of playtime and no time-pressure
  • Get to know the story behind abstract art pioneers
  • Accessible options including color-blind and larger text
  • Vibe to a jazzy soundtrack that provides ambience to your painting-prodding

Besides being available on Steam, you can also pick up Please, Touch The Artwork on the App Store, Google Play, and the Nintendo Switch from the 26th of January.
