This post on QB Planets was supposed to go up yesterday, but with little info on the title, it went on the backburner. Fortunately, I found my notes – and subsequent video that you can find further down.

A puzzle-based space adventure, you play as an astronaut who explores the known galaxy looking for stars, then once collected, return to your ship. If it were a simple case of moving the joystick one step at a time, it’d be easy, but here is a challenging puzzle game that you have to solve in as few moves as possible.

Judging from the trailer, you’ll rotate a Rubik’s Cube of sorts, guaranteeing your character in QB Planets collects all three stars (for maximum points?), and ensure that they are safe from all kinds of environmental hazards. This indie game from Mad Owl Games looks ace.

QB Planets is out now on the Nintendo Switch, and naturally, if there’s scope, I’ll aim to cover here in due course.
