Redneck Ed Astro Monsters Show is a beautifully animated game coming to Steam next month.
You sure got a purdy mouth. Isn’t that what the stereotype is for a redneck? I’m going by poor source material such as the GTA series and Family Guy, but let’s stick with that for Rustic Fantastic and 101XPs latest adventure.
Cartoon-like graphics aren’t a new thing. Dragon’s Lair set a new standard but was pretty mediocre when it came to gameplay, but was superseded with the likes of Cuphead raising the game a bit. Well, if Redneck Ed Astro Monsters Show plays as good as it looks, I may have start wiping my chops.
Ed’s lived a simple life, but when his path crosses with a mysterious girl, his world changes for the better when he enters a fighting arena at the Astro Monsters Show. It’s relatable as I went to get a pint of milk earlier and ended up in space cow rodeo on Saturn 12.
There is a trailer out, but it’s unlisted so you’ll have to search for it, or I’ll update this post once it’s live. I can verify that it sure is purdy.
