Ride 4 heads to next-gen with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X firmly on the horizon in early 2021.

Though I’d always opt for four wheels over two, having a quick hoon and tearing it up on a hog is something that needs to be done, if down well. The latest Ride 4 will build on the series when it releases next year.

From Milestone, also behind the MotoGP series, players get to ride bikes over 200 HP at 60FPS up to a 4K resolution, both online and offline with over 20 riders competing.

As a sneak peek for future PS5 owners, Ride 4 will feature advanced haptic feedback, providing realistic resistance that has ‘the same feeling of their real-life counterparts’, with significantly reduced loading times through the new SSD.

Milestone is working closely with Yamaha and Bridgestone:

With Milestone and RIDE 4 we have taken great steps not only towards our fans and customers but towards the motorcycle lovers as a whole. For us as a company it is important to nurture the passion and open our family to all those whose hearts rev together with ours, using on-line experience as an entry door to “real” motorcycles or either to stretch the off-line experience to moments when you have to stay at home.

Paolo Pavesio, Marketing and Motorsport Director, Yamaha Motor Europe

and:

As a global leader in mobility solutions, Bridgestone has always embraced the spirit of the true riders, supporting them with its products and technology, whether they are travelling with their bike, enjoying a beautiful scenery or racing at 300 km/h on a track.
