River Tails: Stronger Together - A Cat And Fish Game

A co-op game made by best friends, for best friends? Either River Tails: Stronger Together will make you all mushy or reach for your sick bucket. For me, this 3D co-op adventure looks like a lot of fun.

Developed by Kid Onion Studio and published by Gravity Game Arise, this story is about how two unlikely friends – Furple the cat and Finn the fish – get together when Furple ventures too far into an icy mountain and is reluctantly saved by the grumpy Finn.

A friendship starts to materialise in River Tails: Stronger Together as the two complement each other’s strength on land and in water. It’ll initially be in Early Access, offering two worlds with three levels and a final boss level. While there’s a focus on co-op (local – YES!) – you can even share a controller(!?) – there’s also a solo ‘Lone Wolf’ mode.

River Tails: Stronger Together is expected to release in Q3 2003 and will be coming to the PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, whereas the Early Access is due in Q1 2023 for PC.
