ROBOBEAT: Robo-Hunting Rhythmic Rogue-lite? Radical!
From Inzanity and Kwalee (again!) comes rhythm shooter ROBOBEAT – a rogue-lite FPS coming to Steam and Epic Games Store in a matter of weeks. Get your dancing shoes on, and load up your mags.
ROBOTBEAT is procedurally generated, so no run is the same.
Assuming the role of Ace, a famous bounty hunter, you’re tasked with hunting down ‘the eccentric robot-showman Frazzer’ in his twisted techno playground. Utilising wall-running, sliding and bunny hopping, it’s imperative to keep momentum to the beat of the drums, a.k.a. the game’s soundtrack.
To make things even more interesting, the game allows you to add custom music, allowing .wav, .mp3, and .ogg files. Wow.
ROBOBEAT will be released on May 16th, 2024, for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. At the time of writing, a playable demo is available on Steam—see the link below.
