Rogue Company Due This Summer On All Major Platforms
I know what you’re thinking, and no, it’s just the way I walk. But getting on track with this upcoming title, Rogue Company, I do know what you’re thinking, and it begins and sounds like Fornite.

Watching the trailer of what seems to be a few stereotypical characters, it started screeching Fortnite clone to me immediately. That’s not a bad thing considering how successful the title has been, and having played it a few times now, aside from being sniped by a 9-year old, it’s quite fun.
But there’s something about Rogue Company that has me interested. It comes across as a four-player Army of Two type game where each player has a role to play. Is that the premise?
Indeed, you play as a band of mercenaries out for blood but also for the money as governments hire you to take out the ‘baddies’, but there are private contracts too. The personalities that make up Rogue Company have also built up a bit of a celebrity following too, and it’s fair to say that this bunch isn’t exactly discreet.
Rogue Company is the first game from First Watch Games, a team that includes Hi-Rez Studios developers and it looks like it’s going to be a corker. There’s one thing missing from this news piece that is the selling point:
Rogue Company is cross-platform.
On top of that, it will be released on the same day for the PS4, Xbox One, PC and the Nintendo Switch. It’s a game that doesn’t take itself too seriously, as tends to be the norm for a lot of shooters.
Out in the summer, Rogue Company is currently in the testing phase, so watch this space for a new third-person multiplayer shooter… that’s cross-platform!
