Rogue Heroes Ruins of Tasos On Its Way

Rogue Heroes Ruins of Tasos On Its Way

Classic dungeon crawlers like The Legend of Zelda used to be about solo campaigns, taking turns with your pals on who gets the controller next, but with Rogue Heroes Ruins of Tasos, you can bring your friends along.

It’s a four-player rogue-lite for both local and online play!

In an attempt to save the people of Tasos from the Titans, your group of pixel art crew take on enemies and solving puzzles in this procedurally-generated world, uncovering Rogue Heroes Ruins of Tasos’ secrets along the way.

On top of that, you can use your loot to purchase new weapons and abilities, and also rebuild the village of Intori.

In Rogue Heroes Ruins of Tasos, sharing is caring.

Heliocentric Studios develop the game, and they had this to say about the development:

Developing Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos for Nintendo Switch as well as PC seemed like a no-brainer for the studio, especially given its classically nostalgic visual style and gameplay. We’re sure Nintendo fans will enjoy the roguelite adventuring that the game brings to Switch, whether they’re playing solo or with friends, as they work to uncover treasures, defeat enemies, and become legendary heroes of Tasos!

Here are just some of things to expect from the game, courtesy of uber publisher Team17:

  • Roguelite dungeon-crawling: Take on procedurally-generated dungeons packed with a variety of monsters, earning gems to spend on upgrades to get further in the next run
  • Adventure together or alone: Up to four players can explore the lands of Tasos and tackle the dungeons, assisting and reviving each other to earn victory together
  • Classic gameplay reinvented: This is top-down adventuring brought into the modern day with colourful visuals and a number of options for combat, puzzle-solving, and exploration
