Seablip Is Taking Piracy Into Early Access

Turning the grandfather sub-genre on its head, in the upcoming Seablip you seek revenge for their murder and have NOT inherited their business, and encourage to embark on a first-person simulator. This be an open-world pirate RPG don’t yar know?

Following the success of a Kickstarter campaign and well-received demo during the Steam Next Fest, solo dev Jardar Solli has announced their Early Access title will be coming to Steam (PC and Mac) early this year.

In Seablip, players will roam the seas during the 100-year war between the Redcoats and Bluecoats, taking on pirates, exploring islands and discovering mysteries. In addition to good old-fashioned plundering, players will be able to craft and strategise battles and manage their ‘loyal’ crews.

Seablip will be available in Early Access during Q2 2024, with the full release expected in 2025.
