Free To Play Sherwood Extreme Comes To Early Access In May

I don’t know about you, but I’ve always had this affinity with archery in games, crossbows not so much. However, watching some gameplay videos, inserting a crossbow into parkour-like action that also features bullet-time seems to work.
Sherwood Extreme builds on the Robin Hood legend but with a fantasy twist as the rogue battles hordes of goblins instead of the Sheriff’s men. Did you know that there are volcanos in Nottingham? Me neither.
But this game from CAGE Studios isn’t about historical accuracies (we can thank Kevin Costner for the trend), as Robin can equip a minigun crossbow and collect ‘thousands of unlockables’.
Robin was a social sort, so there are co-op opportunities with other merry men and women, leaderboards, mini-raids and wave-based survival levels. There’s a focus on speed runs and backflips. Jet Set Sherwood?
