In the past couple of years, you’ll have been exposed to a plethora of cyberpunk titles, but have you tried out Silicon Dreams yet? If you’re a fan of Blade Runner, this indie sim from Clockwork Bird is a must – especially now there’s free DLC attached.

It’s 2065 (not really, but I’m setting the scene), and you’re an interrogator android that sniffs out wrong ‘uns through a series of calculated questions and observations. If you’re familiar with the Voigt Kompf, it’s that and expertly done.

Silicon Dreams is thoroughly engaging and well-written with a focus on narrative, but if you’ve achieved every path, what now? That’s where the Fatality and Frame DLC comes into effect. Including a narrative map that shows the paths you have taken and those yet to traverse, it also includes two new cases involving an android charged with murder and another being a live streamer. What’s worse?! I kid

Silicon Dreams Fatality and Frame DLC is available free to anyone with the base game. If you haven’t played it yet and don’t want to rely on my review, check out the demo on Steam now. If you’re a fan of cyberpunk, noir and specific Orwell books, this game is swell.
