Who could possibly be the target audience for Simon the Sorcerer Origins – a prequel to a point and click adventure released over 30 years ago. ME! Thanks, Smallthing Studios for bringing this to my attention. It’s especially kind of you to make this available to all those other adventurers who didn’t have an Amiga 1200 and had to endure the original on the 500.

Hold on a second – Chris “Gordon Brittas” Barrie returns as Simon? Mind-is-blown. Yes, this news entry is very much like something from a fanzine – my apologies, but when you have Rick Astley also performing in the game, one has to keep one’s shit together.

Simon the Sorcerer Origins is also being published by Leonardo Interactive (Hell Architect and Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town), who have helped compile a team of 80 professionals and created over 15,000 hand-drawn frames.
