Time to update the football list as Sociable Soccer is set for a release on PC and consoles in 2022 after a successful launch on Apple Arcade. Granted, there’s not much to choose from on the platform, but consider this: the game was designed by Jon Hare.

If you’ve been knocking about in gaming for a few years or are just a fan of quality football games, you’re bound to have come across the developer behind the legendary Sensible Soccer.

With Hare at the helm of Tower Studios, they’ve worked together with Kiss Publishing Limited to schedule a release of Sociable Soccer for a wider audience.

Released back in 2019 for Apple Arcade, it’s an arcade-style game at heart with ‘multiplayer head-to-heads and collectable player cards’. Developed for PC in 2015, it has gone full circle and will be available in full (after an initial Early Access phase) at the same time as consoles.

Key features in the game include:

  • Enhanced graphics and animations
  • Enhanced gameplay, strategy & AI
  • Collectable legend players per club
  • Challenges and battle pass system
  • Improved PVP matchmaking & customisable difficulty
  • Update to all 1,000 teams & 30,000 players for 21/22 season

Here’s the beautiful game in motion (a trailer from last year):

Sociable Soccer will be heading to the PS4/5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and a full version on Steam in early 2022.
