Is Star Strikers: Galactic Soccer The Future Of Football?
You might have read that I’m a fan of football games, irrespective of whether they’re called soccer or gimmicky, so when Star Strikers: Galactic Soccer fell on my lap (a.k.a. my inbox), I thought, hmmm.
I’m mildly on the fence on this one as a little anti when it comes to football and stories. In this one, it seems that in the future(?), a galactic federation has formed that puts eight of the best players from eight different worlds against each other in a game of footy.
The difference with Goat Gamez and Lunic Games’ title is they all have different powers – and no, ‘dummying’ isn’t a power – we’re talking black holes and what-not. Yep, Star Strikers: Galactic Soccer is definitely out there, but the handdrawn style and seemingly swift pace make it worth a look.
