You’re not alone… that could go several paths, but in Syndrome, it’s the wrong sort as you wake up on the Valkenburg – the most advanced science space station in the Novacore.

A first-person survival horror from RedDeer Games, first impressions are you’re alone as there’s nobody about, then you hear the first scream. ‘Something from the abyss’ is kidnapping and killing the people on the space station, but get your priorities right as you have to survive first of all.

With ammunition scarce and being totally outnumbered, whatever it is that lurks in the shadows, Syndrome is best suited to those who know how to budget (ammo), and prefer playing in the dark…

Key features include:

  •  Kill or be killed, surviving is a key: You’ll find weapons on the ship, but the ammunition supply is limited. Count your bullets and stay in shadows.
  • Deadly adversaries: Enemies are dangerous, they’re hunters so they’ll follow any noises and investigate any disturbances so beware.
  • Mental horror: Not just typical jumpscares – You’re closed on a creepy, claustrophobic spaceship with countless horrors inside, both physical and psychological.
  • Intriguing plot: A seemingly simple mission turned into a bloody scenario – it’s up to you to find out what’s really going on.
  • Deep lore to discover: Plenty of exploration awaits for you to do inside the ship, and many things to discover about the story.

Here’s a trailer:

Syndrome will be available on the Nintendo eShop from the 11th of March.
