Taiko No Tatsujin Rhythmic Adventure Pack is coming to the Nintendo Switch this Winter. Tappity-tap.

It’s like I was only playing Taiko No Tatsujin yesterday. Wait: I was! Absolutely nailing it on the Anpanman theme, then ballsing it up on X Japan’s Silent Jealously like a seal wielding lightsabers.

Well, Taiko No Tatsujin Rhythmic Adventure Pack is going to launch later this year – a package that was only released in Japan, which will now come to the west.

At first, I was wondering whether this was an expansion pack, but it appears to be a standalone of two RPG adventures following Don Cheadle, or Don-Chan, covering different periods in history.

With over 250 different monsters, bosses and enemy drums, plus the familiar cast that is part of Don-Chan’s entourage, this promises to deliver to existing fans and perhaps win over some new ones.

As before, it’s a rhythm-based game, so performing combos to the beat will unleash hell on the baddies so that they’ll never get in the way of a drum adventure ever again!

With over 100 songs and six new titles (here’s hoping for some Slayer), it’s gonna be a blast.

Here’s a Taiko No Tatsujin Rhythmic Adventure Pack trailer:

Taiko No Tatsujin Rhythmic Adventure Pack, from Bandai Namco, will be out in North America for Winter 2020 on the Nintendo Switch. Again, I’m not sure if that applies to the EU and the rest of the world, otherwise, it looks like I’ll have to pick up a copy in Japan again.
