Tenet of the Spark is a confusing title, but the comparisons are not. 'A fusion of Sifu's urban martial arts and Devil May Cry 5's character switching' confirms that this isn't the latest cosy farming sim.

In the debut title from ROAR Games, you play as Will, a boxer who is taking on street gangs as well as the ghosts of his past, and the latter can be taken at face value as he can channel the spirits of his ancestors, jumping through eras to get the edge on battle.

And if that already sounds pretty ambitious, Tenet of the Spark is a narrative-driven brawler - not necessarily related to kidnapping and roasted chicken on the floor, but an actual story that links Vikings and Aztecs to our bright-eyed protagonist, Will.

There's a small caveat to this exciting tale... Tenet of the Spark isn't due until late 2026 - not 2025. However, with cutting-edge tech and a 'thrilling story', this might be the one you'll be waiting for, come the year after next.
