The Big Con's Bodacious Release Date
Not long to go until The Big Con hits the PC and Xboxesesess as Mighty Yell and Skybound Games have confirmed a release date for the end of the month.
- A Q&A With imaginarylab, Creators Of Whirlight – No Time To Trip
- The Best Of Two Worlds In Shin Chan: Shiro And The Coal Town
- Blood Hunting Is Dark And Dangerous, This Summer On PS5
- Age of Defense Review: This Takes Ages
If you’re shrugging your shoulders, The Big Con is a 90s-inspired scam where teenager Ali is trying to save her mother’s video store from going down the pan. Despite the best intentions to do so, she’ll be picking pockets and locks, donning disguises and getting up to much tomfoolery.
Though this piece is about the release date, it’s just been announced that the game now has spoken dialogue for its cast of rogues (and marks). You can see the clip below where you can meet the cast:
Other features in The Big Con include:
- An irreverent comic adventure game with open-ended situations, puzzles, and exploration.
- Crime is cool now — sneak, pickpocket, wear disguises, and grift and con anyone you can!
- Mouth off! Talk your way into deals and out of trouble across the country.
- Meet a cast of weird ‘90s characters and rip ‘em off (or help them, if that’s your deal).
- Original theme song from Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego? house band Rockapella!
- Call home and argue with your mom!
So, the BIG reveal: the release date is set for the 31st August on Steam and the Xbox line-up. Pre-orders are available now; Steam info is below.
