The Captain Is Dead. It's Time Time To Kick Ass And Chew Bubblegum

Heard of The Captain is Dead? Not me, but then again, it was only released yesterday. Wow – what an intriguing title: a survival strategy game in space that pops.

From Thunderbox Entertainment, The Captain Is Dead is based on the board game (probably why I don’t know it). Your job is to prevent ‘utter annihilation in the cold depths of space’ by uniting your crew to play their part.

As well as the captain, you’ll have access to the Ensign, Hologram, Scholar and Counselor, to name a few, and they all have unique skills key to survival. Even the Janitor. 

But this ain’t no ordinary janitor – it’s Duke Nukem himself! Well, the voice of Duke, Jon St John. Come get some. St John isn’t the only voice talent, but thesps from Assassin’s Creed, Mass Effect and Portal. You can do your homework; I’m not listing them all.
