The Curious Tale Of The Stolen Pets Physical Release for PSVR
I only recently mentioned about my lack of coverage of PSVR, but hold fire – I’ll have some reviews up soon. In the meantime, here’s news of The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets physical release, due out on PSVR at the end of February.

Rather than fill up news content with anything and everything, as a one-man band, I only cover titles that interest me, or that I receive a hamper in the post from the publisher. The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets is the former – this game looks stunning.
Despite being the winner for Most Immersive Game at 2019’s Raindance Film Festival, it’s a title completely new to me. Just looking at the official trailer, which you can see for yourself below, I can’t not say that this looks a little like The Gardens Between in its design, and that’s a massive compliment as far as I’m concerned. The worlds and objects within them look gorgeous, but the full potential can’t be realised until seeing it on the PSVR.

Each world is hand-crafted and unique in this heart-warming tale as players are guided through their adventure by the voice of their grandfather. All areas are filled with unique puzzles that can be solved by gripping, pushing, dropping and spinning the environment around them.
The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets encourages exploration, directing you to peer behind volcanos and search through an old summer cottage to learn more about the story and find hidden secrets.
A combination from publishers Perp Games and Fast Travel Games, the latter specialising in VR releases and having experience with Angry Birds and Mirror’s Edge to name a few mean that this is an exciting title to explore for folks like me who missed it the first time.
My preference for PSVR games is the physical release whenever feasible, so I’m pleased to say that The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets should be in shops in Europe from the 28th of February.
