You gotta love Lovecraft. You don’t, but I do. Lovecraftian game The Dreams in the Witch House will be coming to a PC near you in the year 2023, courtesy of Atom Brain Games.

Based on a short story by H.P. Lovecraft, you must survive two months of nightly terrors, facing the ultimate fear: the May-Eve witch ritual. You know the one. Fusing RPG, open-world and adventure setting, the gameplay is non-linear, and many elements are randomly generated. Forget about a walkthrough!

Couple years ago when I re-read The Dreams in the Witch House by H.P. Lovecraft, I quickly realised that it would make a perfect survival adventure game. Unlike with my previous attempts to finish making a video game, this time my motivation was strong, because of my love for the source material.Developer, Antti Laakso
