The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow is coming to the Nintendo Switch this month. If you haven’t already played this, and you’re a point and click fan, add it to your list immediately. If you like.

Set in rural Bewlay, Victorian England, you play as antiquarian Thomasina Bateman. She’s been contacted by a resident who’s asked her to investigate a barrow with an array of undiscovered treasures waiting to be discovered. Alas, on her arrival, her contact is nowhere to be found, and the locals aren’t entirely accommodating either.

From Cloak and Dagger Games and Wadjet Eye Games, The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow is a folklore horror well worth your time. It was featured in the GOTY 2022 list. Check out the review here.
