The Gunk Release Date This Month
What kind of news site is this if I found out about The Gunk from another site last week? That’s my impression of an internal monologue from a reader of this site, not you, when they see some ‘old’ news about this upcoming release.
You might have seen this during the Thunderful World event hosted by Luke Skywalker. This one caught me off guard as it’s not a game I was familiar with at the time but pleased to present the following (unless you’ve already read about it…)
The Gunk is a sci-fi exploration game where you play as Fiona Nova, as voiced by Rani. That’s a little test for you to make sure you’re reading – it’s the other way around. As Rani, you will travel these alien environments with partner Becks and locate the substance, as per the game title.
This unknown substance is eating away at life and making the planets barren, so with a goo-sucking power glove, you’ll rid the land of this naughty, naughty stuff and save the day. Thunderful’s latest looks excellent.

The Gunk is out on PC, and the Xboxeseses from the 16th of December. Make sure to wishlist it and ask your favourite people to get it for you for Chrimbo (or buy it yourself on release!).
