GOTY 2023, Dredge gets yet another premium DLC in the guise of The Iron Rig expansion – featuring loads of new fish, upgrades and gadgets, and it’ll be here with us in time for the Summer.

From Black Salt Games and Team17, this indie fishing adventure truly is sublime. It’s a sort of Innsmouth-inspired tale of a fisherman who washes up in a local town, gets a new boat, and then heads back to work, only there’s something… fishy going on.

Dredge Review - A Lovecraftian Fishing Simulator With Chill Vibes?
Fishing can be a demanding role, but not so much in indie game Dredge. Unless you’re including the horrors of the deep and those with a penchant for the occult, of course.

The Iron Rig expansion boasts 50 new fish, a new tier of fishing equipment and new locals to interact with. Additionally, there will be new events and lore to uncover. For more details, as well as info on the Collector’s Edition, check out the pre-order site.

Last year, we saw the release of The Pale Reach expansion for Dredge, which is also recommended. In case you don’t already know, Dredge is available if you have the PlayStation Plus membership enabled. There are no excuses – this is a must.

The Iron Rig expansion launches on 15th August 2024 on PC (Steam, Windows and GOG), PlayStation, Xbox and the Nintendo Switch.
