The Updates On The Way Of The Wrath Are Sounding Good
The Way of the Wrath, from Animmal and Hooded Horse, is steadily making progress, which is good news really as it’s expected to release in 2023. But what’s been happening since the last news piece?
In terms of mechanics, pathfinding and movement are currently in a polished state, allowing players to use multiple controls to accommodate the two different combat systems, additional animations, and an overhauled game HUD for both real-time and turn-based combat.
The sound has been part of the updates, featuring new theme music and a new footstep system replicating some ‘awesome cozy & crunchy feeling’ when walking on the snow. Ambient sounds have been developed, as well as a bone-chilling wind that changes depending on where you are in the world.
