Shake Your Spear At Shakespeare: To Be Or Not To Be On Switch

Reckon you could do a better job at rewriting some of the classics? Well, now’s your chance as To Be Or Not To Be heads to the Nintendo Switch.

For many reasons, I have a significant connection to the English language that isn’t just writing on this site or talking to other hoomans. Despite that affinity, I think Shakespeare’s a bit of a dick.

Alright, that’s not entirely true. There’s no denying Shakespeare’s impact on literature and storytelling as a whole, but it could do with a reboot, amiright? Well, that’s where To Be Or Not To Be comes into question.

It’s a ‘choose your own adventure’, much like the recent Theatre of Sorrows, only you can play as Hamlet, Ophelia or even King Hamlet. Players get to travel through time, investigate their own murder (surely you’ve heard of Hamlet?), but all to the tune of your own raconteurism. Is that a word? I’m not investigating that.
