TT Isle of Man Ride On The Edge 2 Out Now
TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 2. My knowledge of motorbikes ranges from Barry Sheen to Carl Fogarty and more recently Guy Martin. Though the greatest gaming experiences probably come from people like Tommy Vercetti in GTA Vice City. Well, that could soon change.
For well over a century, the Isle of Man TT course has been a mainstay, covering some of the most deadliest bends and straights in motoring history. Riding the roads of Snaefell Mountain, riders can exceed speeds of 186 mph, so this isn’t for Sunday drivers – despite the sleepy looking location.
But you know what? No one seems to be able to get the mechanics right.
Either the bikes go too fast and have the handling of the vehicles in Wipeout, or it’s a sluggish experience like the original Ride. Bear in mind I haven’t played it yet, but TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 2, from KT Racing and NACON Gaming, looks solid. The speed is as ludicrous as it should be, but the drops and turns appear to be more natural than its peers.
TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 2 features official TT bikes and riders and an improvement on bike physics and the wear and tear on bike components, plus a variety of modes to keep contenders busy. Other than the redesigned career mode, there are also a variety of challenges such as pursuits and time attacks.
