Unto The End Release Date Is In Sight

A release date has been confirmed for Unto The End, and if you’ve also had the pleasure in playing the demo on Steam, this will be excellent news.

If you’re unfamiliar with the game, it’s a debut title from 2 Ton Studios and published by Big Sugar, where it has been described as a cinematic platformer. The emphasis, however, is on the combat. While it has a platforming aesthetic, how you master your weapon is key to survival.

Think of Bushido Blade, and you get the idea. While it isn’t one-hit kills, how you respond to an attack and conduct your own is a thoughtful action and not mindless button bashing. Patience is required to learn the mechanics, and that gives you more time to gawp at the gorgeous graphics.

But the goal is to make it back home alive, and this adventure will not only have you facing combat, trading opportunities too, all to the backdrop of mountainous vistas and perilous terrains.

Unto The End has been the focus of our day to day for the past few years and it’s been fantastic to have such a great response to the game already…But now we’re looking forward to Unto launching and everyone having a chance to experience the world and adventure we’ve created.

Unto The End will release on the 9th of December on Steam and GOG, Stadia(!), PS4 and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch version will come out on the 17th of December.
