Venatrix: There's Two Sides To Every Lovecraft-Inspired Story

Consoles got there first with Lovecraftian Venatrix, but now PC gamers can get a whiff of this creepy horror adventure.

Venatrix: There's Two Sides To Every Lovecraft-Inspired Story

Hhmmm… this doesn’t look like the Alone in the Dark remake—wait: this is Venatrix, ‘ a unique hybrid of action-packed and stealth-based horror game’ from Playstige Interactive, and it’s available on Steam now.

Like the aforementioned, two characters are in the game, but their approaches are significantly different. Matthew Kolth is a paranormal investigator, and from his perspective, he confronts monsters and puzzles from a third-person viewpoint. Della Hartfort, on the other hand, employs stealth-based tactics and is in a first-person perspective.

Offering two different storylines, 20 enemy types, and powered by Unreal Engine 5, Venatrix is a Lovecraft-inspired adventure and features the following:

  • A unique hybrid of action-packed and stealth-based horror gameplay.
  • Two playable characters: Matthew Kolth and Della Hartfort.
  • Two distinct playstyles: third-person action/horror and first-person stealth/horror.
  • The choice between navigating nightmarish scenes as Matthew, a paranormal investigator, or stealthily evading monsters as Della.
  • Expedition through ghastly Lovecraftian-inspired realms.
  • Dive into characters’ psyches and experience ethereal dream sequences.
  • Battle against terrifying monsters from other dimensions and outer space.
  • Solve mind-bending puzzles to progress through the game.
  • More than 20 types of enemies to encounter or avoid.
  • Two intertwining storylines.
  • Enigmatic puzzles set in diverse H.P Lovecraft-inspired locations.
  • Ominous dynamic soundtrack.
  • Powered by Unreal Engine 5, featuring Lumen, Nanite, 4K Resolution, and Ray-Tracing.

Venatrix is already available on the PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. If you’ve been waiting for it on PC, now’s your chance to get it!
