From PM Studios, Dim Bulb Games, and Serenity Forge comes a physical edition of Where The Water Tastes Like Wine for PS4 and the Switch, courtesy of Limited Run Games.

Have you ever seen Star Wars, or perhaps played the new Ratchet and Clank game? If you listen to all the buzz, you don’t want to miss out, but sometimes we have every intention to consume a title in some way or another, but it inevitably ends up on the backlog.

That’s no slur on the game, just that there’s so much to choose from; we’re spoilt. Or, if you care to admit it, it’s your poor time management. For me, it’s both when it comes to Where The Water Tastes Like Wine, in my library for almost a year and still not played it.

Perhaps today’s physical edition will prompt a playthrough by the weekend as reading through the material, it sounds just my kind of thing, and probably why I got it in the first place. Apologies for not getting to the point – I need some more caffeine (or many I don’t!).

Where The Water Tastes Like Wine is a one-of-a-kind narrative adventure about travelling, sharing stories and ‘surviving manifest destiny’. Using hand-drawn illustrations, the game combines both 2D and 3D during the Great Depression of the US. Fun old times, eh?

Limited Run Games have launched a Collector’s Box, available from pre-order from noon EST (9 am PST) for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch – a standard and steelbook edition, respectively. Note that the latter steelbooks are limited to just 250 units, so you need to be quick!

Here’s a trailer to refresh your memory or prompt you to spend some pennies:
